From Orphan to Family

Through the Holy Spirit, you are not kept at a distance—you are adopted.

Adopted by God into the family of God

Imagine arriving at a picnic with almost nothing—a dry sandwich, barely enough to satisfy.

Then a family invites you to share their feast.

You hesitate. You protest.

But they insist:
“Let’s put it all together.”

What was lacking becomes abundance—not because of what you brought, but because of what they shared.

This is what God has done. All human beings are created in His image. Not all people are in the family of God.

Through the Holy Spirit, you are not kept at a distance—you are adopted.

“You received the Spirit of adoption… by whom we cry, ‘Abba, Father’”
(Romans 8:15).

You came as an orphan.

You are invited to live as a son or daughter.

The Invitation Still Stands

God has already made contact.

The question is no longer:
Is He speaking?

The question is:
Will you respond?

He is not sending signals from a distance.
He has come near.

And His message is not complicated:

“Come into My life.”

A Simple Reflection

  • Where have you been treating God like a distant voice instead of a present Person?
  • What would it look like for you to receive—not earn—His invitation into relationship?
  • Are you living like a guest…or like family?

A Step Forward

Today, pause.

Not to search for a signal.

But to listen to the One who has already spoken.

And hear Him say:

“Let’s put it all together.”

Make Disciples Who Multiply, Not Just Participate
So they settle for learning without multiplying. Activity without transformation. Groups that gather—but do not reproduce.
